TQ1 Music is proud to have contributed five of the mixes and the complete mastering of this upcoming release from the legendary Gary Moore.
How Blue Can You Get, a collection of previously unreleased songs from Gary's substantial body of outstanding work in his back catalogue. The album contains 4 originals, and 4 songs previously recorded and made famous by classic bluesmen like Elmore James, Sonny Thompson, Memphis Slim and BB King.
Venturing deep into the Moore family archives, some previously unheard and unreleased deep cuts and alternative versions surfaced to accentuate the beguiling mastery of one of blues' finest modern exponents. Amongst the songs are unheard and unreleased Moore originals - "In My Dreams," a lusciously glorious slow-moving ballad with every note and bend weeping as Moore pours out his heart along with the stunningly melancholic "Looking At Your Picture".

Vol 4 Super Deluxe
"The fourth CD (discs four and five on vinyl) re-sequences live performances from the March 1973 UK tour heard previously as Live At Last (1980) and part of Past Lives (2002) – but former Free engineer Richard Digby Smith’s new mix proves third time lucky and outshines even the glorious 60-page booklet." Gavin Sutherland
I first worked with Gavin and his brother Iain back in the early '70s on their first two albums for Island Records. These recordings were also my own earliest experiences of being in a professional studio. So it is with the utmost pleasure and amazement that I am once again working with a Sutherland Brother. Here is a track from Gavin's latest contribution to our nations musical talent, from the album:
"The Wishing Tree."
Mark Millington

Talented saxophonist who has worked with many of the jazz greats, including Hugh Masekela, Mark has recently recorded his own album, which I am proud to have co-produced. Check out a sample track called "Lockdown" on the Soundcloud link below.
My autobiography is now available.
Martin Gordon
Martin Gordon began his career in the Seventies as bass player with the American band Sparks, who found success in the UK with hits ‘This Town Ain’t Big Enough For The Both Of Us’ and ‘Amateur Hour’ from their 1974 album ‘Kimono My House’. Following Gordon’s dalliance with the Ensemble Modern in west Africa in 2019, he will present his mini-opera ‘Another Words‘ in summer 2021. Lovingly mastered at TQ1 Music.
Chas and Dave
Back in 1973, way back! I had returned from touring with Chas Hodges and his band Head, Hands and Feet and the album "Old Soldiers Never Die" was recorded at Island Record's Basing Street studios. Shortly after, Chas and his best mate Dave came over to my modest little 4 track recording facility at my home and we recorded three tracks. Two of these historic, earliest recordings of what was to later become the famous duo of Chas and Dave are released this year on Demon Records.

Puss Puss Band

"In the past 18 months, since the release of our first album “Echoes Across The Cruel Sea”; a collaboration with the much respected John Rabbit Bundrick (The Who, Free, Bob Marley, Roger Waters, John Martyn) we have built up a small but established following, performing numerous Live sets for Radio, including a live set for BBC Wales.

The new album is a continuation of our work with Rabbit in addition to former Island Records UK chief engineer Richard Digby Smith and is due for release in August."

THE MOLECULES
This is an ongoing project with Eighties champion of Psychodelic punk Lennie Blush and his songwriting partner Sandy. The team here at TQ1 Music are arranging songs written back over time, adding new instrumentation and modern production twists. The results are an intriguing re-examination of the complexities of the human condition, as viewed through the lenses of this unique songwriting duo.
